What The Menopause Society Is
The Menopause Society is the medical society dedicated to menopause care: the clinicians, researchers, and standards behind how menopause and hormone therapy are practiced. Its certification exists so patients can tell the difference between a clinic that markets hormone care and a clinic that is credentialed in it.
Dr. Mike Catausan, Certified Practitioner
Dr. Mike Catausan is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. The credential requires passing the Society's validated competency exam and maintaining it. You can verify it in the Society's own directory at portal.menopause.org.
A Certified Facility, Both Clinics
Hormone Treatment Centers holds the Society's Certified Facility designation at both clinics, Overland Park and Lee's Summit. The standard covers the practice, not just one provider.
Why It Matters For You
Hormone care is measured care: full labs, a provider who knows your numbers, and a plan built on both. Certification is the outside check that the clinic advising you is held to the field's own standard, by the field's own society, on an ongoing basis.
