Dr. Michael Catausan is the Owner and Chief Medical Officer of Hormone Treatment Centers, where he is dedicated to helping patients optimize their health, performance, and longevity through personalized, evidence-based care. With more than 20+ years of clinical and executive medical experience, Dr. Catausan brings a uniquely comprehensive approach to modern wellness medicine.
He is passionate about helping men and women feel their best through advanced hormone care, including testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and menopause treatment, while also addressing the broader drivers of long-term health. His clinical interests include weight loss and metabolic optimization, sleep optimization, peptide therapy, cellular health, and regenerative medicine. By combining detailed diagnostics with individualized treatment plans, Dr. Catausan focuses on identifying and treating root causes rather than simply masking symptoms.
Before leading Hormone Treatment Centers, Dr. Catausan served as Chief Medical Officer of Community Wellness Technology Inc., a health and wellness company focused on improving outcomes through personalized smart medical devices, remote monitoring, and virtual physician care. In that role, he led multidisciplinary medical teams, developed evidence-based clinical protocols, improved clinical operations, and helped shape long-term healthcare delivery strategy.
Prior to that, he served as Medical Director at Aetna, a CVS Health company, where he provided medical oversight and expertise related to appropriateness, medical necessity, utilization practices, and quality improvement. He also has extensive telemedicine experience through platforms including MDLive, Teladoc, Doctor On Demand, and American Well, helping expand access to high-quality care through innovative digital health models.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Catausan practiced emergency medicine in hospitals across Missouri and Kansas, where he developed a strong foundation in high-acuity, fast-paced clinical care. He also founded one of the first direct primary care practices in the Kansas City area, reflecting a long-standing commitment to innovation, accessibility, and patient-centered medicine.
Dr. Catausan earned his medical degree through the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s prestigious accelerated six-year combined BA/MD program, which he entered directly out of high school. He completed his residency training at the Wesley Family Medicine Residency Program in Wichita, Kansas, where he served as Chief Resident.

After earning her Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas–Pan American in 2014 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2019 from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, she advanced into leadership roles overseeing multiple women’s health, family practice, and specialty clinics. Her background includes prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic, cardiac, and medical-surgical care.
